What the £1 report adds for Buckinghamshire Council
- The council's published fees and how to apply.
- Which channel products it accepts on its pavements.
- Whether your home qualifies for the on-street chargepoint grant.
- What changes in a conservation area or for a listed building.
- A cost table and, if the answer is no, a ready-to-send email to your councillor.
The postcode check is free. Full refund within 30 days if you are not happy.
On-street chargepoint grant
Pays 75% of the chargepoint cost, up to £500. Closes 31 March 2027, 11pm. You need Buckinghamshire Council's permission for a channel first.

Planning
From 21 October 2026, a new permitted development right in England (Class F, Part 9 of the GPDO) removes the need for a planning application for a pavement cable channel installed with highway authority authorisation. It does not apply in conservation areas, within the curtilage of a listed building, or at scheduled monuments.
