Terms of sale
These terms cover buying a Hedgevolt report. They are short on purpose. If anything is unclear, email [email protected].
Who we are
Hedgevolt is run by 4K Technologies Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (number 14234800), registered office 14 Ridgeway, Swinton, Manchester, M27 8QW. You can reach us at [email protected].
What you are buying
A report for one address in England. It sets out what your highway council says about running a charging cable across the pavement, the government grant, the likely costs and your next steps. Each fact carries the link it came from and the date we last checked it.
The report is general information, not legal or planning advice. Your council makes the decision, and its rules can change after we check them. Always confirm with your council before you pay for any installation.
Price and payment
A report costs £1. That is the whole price; there are no extra charges. Payment is taken by Stripe when you check out. We never see or store your card details.
Delivery
Your report opens as soon as the payment goes through, at a private link that is yours to keep, with a PDF copy. If your council's details change in a way that affects the report, we will email you and the link will show the update.
Your right to cancel
A report is digital content. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you normally have 14 days to cancel, but at checkout you ask us to supply the report straight away and confirm you understand that you lose that right once it is supplied. Our refund promise below still applies.
Our refund promise
If you are not happy with your report for any reason, email [email protected] within 30 days of buying it and we will refund you in full to the card you paid with. You do not need to give a reason. Refunds usually reach your account within 5 to 10 working days.
This does not affect your legal rights. If the report is faulty or not as described, you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Partner links
Some reports link to installers and energy companies. Some of those links pay us a referral fee if you buy from them. It costs you nothing and never changes what a report says. Anything you buy from a partner is between you and them, under their terms.
Our responsibility to you
We take care to keep the information accurate and current, but we cannot guarantee what a council will decide. We are not responsible for losses that come from relying on the report instead of confirming with your council. We do not exclude liability where the law does not allow it, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
Complaints and law
If something goes wrong, email us first and we will try to put it right. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
