Planning
From 21 October 2026, a new permitted development right in England (Class F, Part 9 of the GPDO) removes the need for a planning application for a pavement cable channel installed with highway authority authorisation. It does not apply in conservation areas, within the curtilage of a listed building, or at scheduled monuments.
